Not really using social media that much in general atm but I'm gradually trying to move away from this platform and onto the other one 👉 @charlottecurle.bsky.social - https://t.co/HRB0y5tVH6
@princessjack@LucyGoBag It’s interesting to think about how we prepare people to deal with risk whilst also being careful not to scaremonger and perpetuate the crisis - I need to engage with more research into this I guess!
@princessjack@LucyGoBag This is making me think about some early findings starting to come through in my research - even pole dancers who’ve never experienced shadowbanning/account deletion are hyper aware/fearful of the threat and adapt their behaviour accordingly (including myself at times)
@victoriabee27 If you go on the ‘who won in my area’ section on the BBC News app and then scroll right down I think it shows all the national vote tallies there?
I’m now recruiting participants with experience of creating/engaging with pole dance content to take part in my PhD research project - please follow my Instagram account @ccurleresearch which contains all the details needed to take part! 👇🏼

I’ve decided to take a break from blogging for the foreseeable future and I’ve written a final post to explain the reasons why 👇🏼https://t.co/QBUriBGziw
After 2 and a half years of applying for PhD funding/nearly 2 years of self-funded part-time study, I’ve managed to secure AHRC funding to complete the rest of my research project! It’s been such a difficult journey but I’m so excited to see everything finally coming together 🙌
@bloggeronpole Thank you! 🥰 I remember us talking about the woes of funding after your GFF workshop in Manchester a couple of years ago and your encouragement helped keep me going! 💪🏼
