A major shift towards fairness and security for renters.
Landmark day for renters. After years of campaigning, Section 21 āno faultā evictions are history. The Rentersā Rights Act is now law, giving millions more security, stability and dignity in their homes.
The claim measuring childrenās wellbeing risks āmaking them sadā is wrong. Ignoring evidence doesnāt make problems disappear: 1 in 5 young people now have a probable mental disorder. Without national data, we canāt know what works.

Government spending per pensioner is now Ā£12.6k higher than per child ā a 170% gap increase over 20 years.

The latest ONS data shows private rents in the UK have risen by 8.1% in the 12 months to February, down from 8.7% in January. Despite the slowdown, rents continue to outpace wages, which grew by 5.8% in January.
