This week's @InTheKnowTrader show is now on demand and YouTube. Rick Bensignor talks all about the Technology Sector of the S&P 500, as most of Tech has kind of petered out, covering the macro group and 12 individual names. https://t.co/ou8fJVI8da
Big base for Europe Discretionary… the Autos have
held back the index to an extent and their response to oversold conditions will be a factor in whether the sector can breakout and outperform Staples. Via @verrone_chris@Todd_Sohn

$RUT Small Cap Value challenging resistance.

$ACAD Acadia Pharma, one of my favorite patterns from today's price action, broke out above Sept highs today on the highest volume since early Sept #IBDPartner Note the long-term base since 2015 which was exceeded in early Sept 2019- Thanks @MarketSmith @IBDinvestors
It's so rewarding to inspire the future generation. The kids at University of Maryland were beautiful, and the IBD Summit was also very fun; I met some really wonderful people, including a 16-yr old young lady who told her father that she had to meet me, so they flew up from Fla.
Yesterday's all-time high close on NASDAQ Composite came with a a decline in % of stocks trading above 200-day avg (still <50%), % of stocks trading above 50-day avg (down from 81% to 54% in past two months) and a contraction in the net new high list.
Even after yesterday's rally, daily momentum on the S&P 500 is not that great. The % of stocks trading above their 200-day averages however has moved to a new recovery high (above 65%) and that certainly seems like a reason to be encouraged.
