It’s not, it’s weakening. Well, you’re seeing something similar to the brown ocean effect. It’s getting multiple areas to pull in moisture, which is helping it maintain tropical storm force, but it is weakening. The convection being observed is it just trying to fight it.

That is why we have tropical from warnings that far inland so this was completely expected

How do I do with the hurricane center 8 PM advisory having 40mph may be slightly under none because we did have a observation of 45 mph in at 7:50 PM. Also doing a radial velocity reduction still support a 45 mph storm. However 40mph can still make sense
