Year 13 Further Maths students talked about Mathematics Heroes and Villains for @ChaseGrammar #WorldBookDay2020. Examples included, villain: Gauss for inventing modular mathematics (making simple equations much harder!), hero: Einstein for his theory of relativity and great hair.

To celebrate #WorldBookDay2020, Year 12 Maths students from @ChaseGrammar extended the topic of comparing data to include a Heroes v Villains Top Trump game. The game featured characters from the classic series of books “The Lord of the Rings”. The Heroes won!

#CGSY12 students in #CGSMaths lessons joined the rest of the school in the “Drop Everything And Read” initiative at 8:55 this morning. The students read an article about Pi to broaden their Mathematical knowledge.
