You can argue ‘it’s not 1985 anymore’ but the league is hurt by casual fans needing to pay out of pocket, often in the summer, to watch Canadian football in Canada.

This is the opposite direction the CFL should be going in.

Not having a presence on free to air television while the NFL has weekly games on CTV has hurt national interest and now you will need multiple streaming subscriptions to follow the league.
