@BernieSanders Why don’t you and your ilk ever talk about the $1.5B spent on the Kamala campaign? Obviously there’s more to the equation than the amount being spent.
@PattyMurray Mandatory spending is the problem! It’s impossible to tax the rich enough to cover the existing costs. Do Your Job! Cut spending. But you won’t do that because you’ll lose your job as a Career Politician. You should be ashamed of yourself.
@litcapital He’s stumping for reelection. Spewing this rhetoric for votes. Not saying he won’t follow through (which is economic suicide) but likely definitely a stump speech to try and capture the socialist votes.
@SenWarren Don’t forget to include farm & office equipment along w/ PJ’s. And the permanent Middle-Class Relief: doubling standard deduction ($16k single/$32k married), & increased Child Tax Credit to $2,200, & $6k bonus for seniors earning under $75k, & no tax on tips and overtime pay.
@compliantvc It’s easy to oppose because it wouldn’t work. First, the math doesn’t work. Even if it did, the resulting hyperinflation would negate any benefit. Redistribution is an inherently flawed concept. It destroys the engine that creates the wealth in the first place.
@realEstateTrent It’s also good to apply this logic to Cost Of Living. From a cost of living perspective the similar calculation would be: purchase price = price + sales tax. Ex: price is $1.00. sales tax is 8%. Actual true price = $1.08.
@PattyMurray That’s a misleading talking point. Cyclospora is still a nationally reportable disease. Cutting bureaucratic redundancy in a tracking database isn't the reason a specific batch of lettuce or produce got contaminated.
