🚨 WOW! Rep. Nicole Malliotakis — whose mother fled Communist Cuba — NAILS IT to the Fake News' faces
"The reality is the communist caucus is coming to Congress! It's gonna be a RUDE AWAKENING if we don't pay attention, that INCLUDES the press! The PRESS is the FIRST ONE to go!" 🔥
"I don't CARE what they call themselves. When you're taking pages out of the playbook of Karl Marx, pushing for abolishing private property rights, seizing the means of production, or Hugo Chavez in packing the Supreme Court? THAT'S what you're gonna get!"
@NMalliotakis@SpeakerJohnson
This is simply astounding! Democrats created a smokescreen about Trump and Russia; and the whole time DNC was working with China.
These are thousands of pages of foreign IP addresses sending and receiving data to election precincts and servers outside the United States during the 2020 Election.
CISA, DHS, the FBI, and the CIA knew all about it because they were in on it.
We’ve been right the whole time. Trump won…and I probably did too.
In light of the China files Trump released, it's worth recalling that Maine Gov. Janet Mills created a program that allowed a Somali NGO to register migrant voters and even give themn *walking around money* -- and that NGO has distinct ties to PRC.
It's right there in state contracts.
The head of Gateway Community Services is under DHS investigation and is currently on the lam in Kenya. The fraud allegations against Gateway became so indisputable that (8 months after we reported it) even Mills had to turn off the money spigot.
Something less well known: Gateway has a still-operational 501(c)3 run by State Sen. Jill Duson's son, Nathan Davis. Some reports suggest Davis is now running the for-profit arm as well.
In what is surely a remarkable coincidence, Davis studied at Bates College with Liping Miao, did a study abroad program in PRC, and claims to speak Mandarin. Despite the impressive resume, he finds himself making $75k for a dumpy non-profit in Maine. Miao, in addition to teaching at Bates, was involved in the botched effort to create a Chinese birthing center in the Lewiston-Auburn area under the auspices of Miracle Enterprise LLC.

WOAH 🚨 Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge reviewed the documents just released by the Trump Admin on election integrity and finds CIA emails showing they were working against Donald Trump to aid China and the Democrats in the 2020 election
“I've been digging into the documents already and I found this November 2020 email, and it specifically states, it's a conversation among intelligence officials, it specifically states that they have, quote, deliberately massaged one of our pending PDBs. That's the president's daily brief. To avoid any direct links to the election”
“This was a massive effort, what they call a multi-domain operation. That means trade, it means diplomacy, it means open-source information, it means social media. So all the levers of power China had to influence the US election”
And our own CIA worked to make sure the r President wasn’t aware of any of this information, they literally removed it from his daily briefing
Literally treason
“In the summer of 2020, as we're heading into the election, in the intelligence community there were indicators of this Chinese influence operation. Influence operations means that you're trying to affect the outcome of how people vote or their sentiment about a presidential candidate.
It's different than an interference operation, which is penetrating voting rolls and voter systems. And this whistleblower was raising the alarm about the influence operation, and then suddenly it all was suppressed”
“In some of their reports, there were in officials' own handwriting that they wanted everything out that could help President Trump in his reelection. So there was clear evidence of political and personal bias”
They wanted to remove EVERYTHING that could possibly help Trump win reelection
Again, literally treason
Also if you remember awhile back, a former CIA officer named Pedro Israel Orta who worked at the CIA during the Trump Administration said the CIA didn’t even recognize him as the President, they wouldn’t even put his picture up on the wall which was customary for all Presidents
They were actively working against him
The silence from left-wing leaders and @mainepress is outrageous.
This is a clear attack on the press and an attempt to intimidate us into backing down from reporting on this story
🚨BREAKING: A "peaceful" protestor has slashed @MaineWireJon's tire outside the Scarborough anti-ICE rally.
This is after protestors were chanting his home address at the Biddeford protest yesterday.
Left-wing political violence and intimidation have gotten out of control
It's worth noting Bellows is wearing a "Community Organizing Alliance" t-shirt.
COA is the Somali political op built out of Gateway Community Services after it landed no-bid contracts from the Mills Admin to sign migrants up for welfare.
Gateway has since been defunded (at least, on the Medicaid side) over fraud allegations and the founder is on the lam in Kenya amid Homeland Security investigations.
Another day, another death threat levied at Maine Wire reporters from the radicalized left.
This was sent to @MaineWireJon - the third death threat he's received since Friday:
"Keep harassing people you useless soft dick having pussy, you should have your face beaten in until all the bones resemble a 10,000 piece puzzle. Keep playing you elderly POS and see what happens. Next time you're out harassing innocent people make sure you have eyes in the back of your head cause that will be where I'm aiming."
There was a second paragraph with personal identifying info about Jon's wife that we are declining to share.
As the left becomes increasingly radicalized, we have seen a steady increase in political violence and threatening rhetoric aimed at our staff.
Maine Wire reporters have been assaulted 9-10 times over the last several months while politely conducting man on the street interviews.
Not a peep from the Maine Press Association or political leaders on the left.
You can learn a great deal about a person’s character by how they respond to someone’s death.
Compassion. Empathy. Basic human decency. Those things don’t disappear because of political differences, personal disagreements, or ideological divides.
If someone’s first instinct upon hearing another human being has died is mockery, celebration, or cruelty, they’re revealing far more about themselves than they ever could about the person who passed away.
A Note to Graham Platner Voters 1/2
I know a lot of you are frustrated right now, and I want to talk to you directly, one Mainer to another.
I saw what happened this week. Graham is out, and now a room full of insiders in Augusta, influenced by Washington party bosses, is going to sit down and pick who goes on that ballot. Not the voters who showed up, not the people who knocked on doors or made calls, a closed room deciding who gets to run and who gets to hold power. The same establishment class of the same names will now pick the nominee.
Here’s the thing. I think many of you are frustrated with the administration, Augusta, and a system that seems built so that hardworking, average people can never quite get ahead, no matter how hard they work, while the people who are already connected keep getting taken care of. Against a system that feels rigged, self-dealing, and unaccountable to anyone. Against the sense that, no matter who wins, nothing actually changes because the same insiders keep making the decisions behind closed doors.
The Democratic establishment in the Governor’s race is Hannah Pingree and Rick Bennett, who are close with Janet Mills. Bennett and Pingree aren’t some outside voice challenging the status quo in Augusta; Pingree was Mills’ own senior advisor. She is Augusta’s chosen successor, handpicked to keep the same operation running with a different name on the door. These are people who are used to getting what they want and will do whatever it takes to keep it that way, whether that means a closed-door convention in the Senate race or clearing the field for their own candidate in mine.
I get your frustration. I have spent the last year traveling to every corner of this state and talking with tens of thousands of Mainers in diners, town halls, living rooms, and parking lots. I have heard the same story again and again: people working two jobs and still falling behind, seniors choosing between heat and medicine, small business owners buried by regulations while politically connected outfits get the contracts and the passes. It is the same corruption, the same rigged system, and it affects us all, regardless of party.
The insiders get richer at our expense; they’ve raised our taxes to the highest property tax burden in the country. Meanwhile, they take lobbyist money in their campaigns, curry favors, and, in Hannah Pingree’s case… live on an island away from the drug abuse and addiction that is so prevalent in our communities.
Let me tell you a little about who I am. I served in the Navy. I am the son of a public school teacher who raised me to work hard, play by the rules, and treat people the way I would want to be treated. I am not a career politician; I have never run for office before in my life. People are going to try to put a label on me because that’s what the political class does; it’s easier to slap a label on somebody than to actually look at what they stand for. But here’s the truth: I drive an old car; I do not live in some mansion. I have spent my career as an investigator, going after fraud and corruption wherever I found it, without caring whose name was attached to it.
The party that screams about “no kings” and “protecting democracy” just forced an elected candidate to drop out and will now have a few oligarchs from the party leadership hand pick a new candidate to represent the people.
What’s happening with the U.S. Senate race right now tells you everything you need to know about how Augusta really works.
The insiders got what they always get: power. When they didn’t get what they wanted anymore, they took him down. Now a small group of Augusta insiders is going to sit in a room and pick who the Democrat nominee is. No voters. No say from the people who showed up and cast a ballot. Just insiders deciding for you.
This is the corruption I’ve been talking about since day one. A small circle in Augusta does what’s best for them: no bid contracts for their friends, favors for special interests, and lobbyists with a direct line to power. That’s exactly why I pledged not to take a dime from Augusta lobbyists or special interests, something my opponents Rick Bennett and Hannah Pingree, three decades in Augusta between them, have never been willing to do.
And while they play their games, average people in this state are getting screwed. Screwed by income taxes. Screwed by the highest property tax burden in the country. Screwed by a school system where outcomes keep declining, where our kids are testing worse in reading than Mississippi. Screwed by needles flooding our streets and our parks while insider deals keep getting cut behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, the people running Augusta keep getting rich off your tax dollars.
This is exactly what’s wrong with our state, and every one of us should be furious about it. It’s time for a change.
Platner's wife facing a Medicaid fraud investigation raises questions as to whether Amy Gertner is, in fact, legally married to Platner at all.
There have been whispers of a political arrangement (aka beard) since she showed up on campaign finance documents getting paid.
But the details are unclear. In some cases, spouses of 100% disability veterans can get VA benefits, but in some cases they can't. We also don't know from the documents what time period the alleged fraud occurred in. It could have occurred prior to the supposed marriage.
