I can’t fully explain to younger people how cool the internet used to be. We had open forums, personal websites, weird experimental pages, and chaotic corners of the web, before Amazon, Google, and Meta turned it into a sterile, closed ecosystem of clutter, and commerce.
my problem with neutral language is that it is always used in context where the issues affect particularly women (periods, pregnancy, etc), but not when issues affect men
It's so depressing that women spent lifetimes breaking down barriers, fighting stereotypes, refusing to be put into boxes... only for the freest generation of women yet to say: 'I like those gender stereotypes, actually. Time to chop up my body to conform to the set I prefer'.
Every family celebrates Father’s Day differently. I celebrate by convincing men the woman that they just sent unsolicited penile photography to is their daughter.
I am incredibly grateful to be doing this program, but today the thought of never making it because I'm not good enough really set it. These 17-21 year old girls are so much better than me and it makes me feel hopeless and defeated.
Anyone else ever notice how male BDSM & kink enthusiasts celebrate women's mental health struggles when her trauma contributes to being kinky in bed (good crazy), but call woman "crazy btches" for criticizing men exploiting women's trauma for sexual gratification (bad crazy)?
It’s insane how she switched from very confident hip hop adjacent dancer to a school child doing a little dance for your aunties and grandmas at Christmas
sex is used as an insult for women “i fucked your mom” “suck my dick” “your mom is whore”,women that have sex are “sluts” while men arent, people refer to sex as “cracked” “used” “smashed” “destroy her holes” and still have the audacy to talk about sex as “intimacy and love”
@delaniraeann Abercrombie has a couple cuts that may interest you: the "Dad Short" and the "Loose Short." They're not rolled at the bottom but they have a similar silhouette. I buy Abercrombie's Curve Love line because the waist doesn't gap and the thighs are roomy ❤️❤️❤️ Perfect fit.
It’s deeply odd to me that America is a far less 24/7 hour society today than it was 10, 20, or even 30 years ago. I vividly remember friends from the UK back in 1996 marveling at the fact that in the mid-sized Indiana town where I went college it was possible to buy groceries, clothing, a lawn mower, a snow blower, Lego sets, and bow hunting gear at 3 AM on any given Tuesday of the year. That was peak American Empire, and it’s long gone.
