Last night Tesla’s next-gen Roadster didn’t just drive — it flew. At SpaceX’s McGregor site the car (Tesla × SpaceX collab) used cold-gas thrusters to drive upside-down on a ramp, kickflip over the entire lineup (including Semi & Cybertruck), and stick a perfect landing. Live demo: 0-60 mph in 0.81 seconds.
Three versions: • Performance – road-ready, active aero + suction, <1.6s 0-60 • Thrust – race-ready + rear thrusters, <0.9s • Rocket – single-seat, full flight system, <0.59s & actual flight
300+ mile range, F1-level downforce via Optimus-actuated aero, production 2028. This is the last great driver’s car… and then some.
