Indian-American couple Brij Agarwal and Sunita Agarwal have donated $5.5 million to expand healthcare services in Texas, including support for St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital and a new primary care clinic.

Funny how stories like this rarely go viral. The same people obsessed with pushing anti-India narratives won't be making podcasts or headlines about Indian-Americans funding hospitals, improving healthcare access, and giving back to the communities that helped them succeed.

The donation is the largest single gift in the hospital's history, with its main patient tower and pavilion now being named in the Agrawals' honour.

AR Rahman implying that he gets less work in Hindi films due to communal reasons is dishonest.

A few years ago, Tamil lyricist Piraisoodan visited Rahman’s house on his invitation, where Rahman’s mother asked him not to wear vibuthi and kumkum tilak inside the house. Rahman did not stop her.

So if Rahman claims he is being sidelined for communal reasons, he deserves it because he himself is communal. But honestly, that is not even the real reason. He is playing the religion victim card. The actual reasons are far simpler:

Bollywood’s music ecosystem has changed, and Rahman hasn’t adapted to it. Like most composers, his dominant phase has passed. Today’s industry runs on reel-friendly hooks, instant gratification, and trend-driven sound design, none of which is Rahman’s forte.

Secondly, his Hindi career depended heavily on filmmakers like Mani Ratnam, Subhash Ghai, Ram Gopal Varma, and Ashutosh Gowariker, for whom he was the preferred composer. Most of them no longer operate in mainstream Hindi cinema. When that ecosystem faded, his automatic presence faded with it.

Third, the space for original film music has shrunk. Remakes, rap features, label-controlled singles, and viral trends now dominate. Newer composers deliver what producers want, faster, cheaper, and trend-aligned, making them a better market fit.

Fourth, and most importantly, Rahman has stopped delivering memorable music. He recently composed for, Chhaava, ironically a "communal" film. But despite the film rooted in Maharashtra history and identity, his music in the film had no Marathi cultural essence. Not a single track remains recall-worthy today.

Instead of acknowledging these realities, portraying himself as a victim of communal bias is shameful.
