Cooking is the most ridiculous task/expectation in a long term relationship. I want y'all to dream higher about what a couple can really achieve together
In truly seeking the Lord and coming to terms with His demands, you quickly understand why so few walk this path. There is a breaking and pruning process God takes you through that cuts deep against your natural inclinations. The call to give up personal gratification for a greater, eternal good clashes with our default hedonistic instincts. It is, in many ways, a form of suffering and this reality lies at the very heart of the Christian faith: to reject self ambition, take up your cross, and follow Christ. Without the Spirit of God at work in us; stirring love for His kingdom in our hearts and producing total dependence, there can be no real progress in this holy calling by mere human initiative.
Never be the one to say no to yourself. There are many people who are willing to tell you what you can't do or stand in the way of what you are trying to do. Don’t let one of those people be yourself.
Still so much to do, So many places to go, So many people to meet, So much food to eat, So much fun to have.
Please show me how great it can get Lord 🥺🙏🏼
Ages 25-30 are crucial. You’re accepting that your friend group is getting smaller, your parents are getting older, you’re cleaning up the financial mess from your early 20s, managing your career and health. And somehow, you still need to find time to heal your mind.
@maira4yo As we grow, we begin to see marriage not just as a romantic milestone, but as a partnership that impacts our peace, purpose, and future. Love is essential, but so is alignment in values, goals, and emotional safety. Choosing wisely is self-love.
What a privilege to be tired from the work you prayed for. What a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. What a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose. What a privilege to outgrow things you used to settle for.
