My OB, Fr Deus Ssekabira (Masaka Diocese), it is over 10 days ever since you were dramatically taken by military men. No official explanation on what they took you for, no information where you are being held, no charges against you! Not that it is strange, for it is common and normal now. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they say they found you with a fighter jet under your bed. But I hope you are safe wherever you are, and that you will get justice in the soonest.
@fr_petros Good morning everyone, today I pray 4 the Ugandan Priest from Masaka Catholic Diocese who was abducted by the armed gun men, may our Lady of Guadalupe protect him wherever he is. Pray 4 my girlfriend Mary who is traveling today to work in Mbarara for the good Lord to protect her

Every Ugandan is duty bound to fight against this growing lawlessness. As we have repeatedly said, there can be no heroes in a sinking boat. First, they came for muslim clerics, then opposition leaders and members, then some within the academia and civil society, then some foreign nationals. Now, they're coming for Catholic Priests and professionals. Who is next? Every one of us must act fast in trying to restore the rule of law. Our thoughts are with all victims of the brutal regime.
