@DyingLightGame 1 year ago I would have said its time for those players to move on but given console manufacturers have significantly raised prices, I feel bad for those that are stuck on last gen. Honestly its not their fault gaming has become so unaffordable.

Oh thats why I said they’re still probably woefully underpaid. This person probably didn’t make much unfortunately.

But I imagine after 27 years of service you’re probably the MOST paid or one of the highest paid people there.

So when they look at cost cutting they would probably target her. Its not right at all but its probably apart of why they laid her off.

Ya because xbox imposed 14 layers of management on them so they could never make anything.

Xbox/Microsoft execs to upper management should be gutted. Honestly fire Asha and all these AI losers. Then sell Xbox off an independent.

Once that happens we’d be getting a new game from these teams every year.

How numb are you? This is the largest gaming layoff event in modern history. This could single handedly kick off a crash for the industry if these studios don’t make it to next year.

Most of these people who were impacted will need to permanently move out of gaming.

Anyone down playing or trying to spin this as best possible outcome is out of their mind.

@G27Status Do you even need to ask? Performance is comparable to an rtx3060. Every console out currently beats them in performance and cost less.

You can’t really blame the state of the market if your more than your competitors. Thats just bad planning and greed.
