Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place comic contest winners! Inspired by Peter and the Wolf and local artist Nathan Phillips, 4th graders created their own comics. Teachers voted, and these students were selected as the top creators. Great work!

This week, Mrs. Lattanzio’s students shared their book reviews on Seesaw! They uploaded photos, added book titles and authors, and recorded videos explaining why they enjoyed their books and why others should read them.
Students in Mrs. Rousset’s class enjoyed a visit to the AKG, where they explored the galleries and viewed famous works of art by artists they’ve been learning about in art class. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world artistic experiences!

Union East kicked off its 3rd & 4th Grade Volley Power program, and 20 girls are already having a blast learning volleyball skills, teamwork, and confidence! In just two days, they’ve learned so much, and each participant gets a t-shirt and volleyball to keep!

Senior Night recognition for Ava and Aubrey! Both seniors were honored for their dedication and leadership in the Varsity Softball program. In the team’s 15-5 win over Pioneer, Aubrey also recorded her 100th varsity hit and 16 strikeouts. Congrats!

Engineering Design students competed in the ABCD WNY Balsa Wood Bridge Competition against 150+ bridges from 9 WNY schools. One team earned a top-10 finish, placing 8th with near perfect scores in complexity and workmanship while holding 175 pounds. Great job, everyone!
