unfortunately babies are great at ragebaiting you. especially mothers. your whole body is attuned to respond to every little noise they make. two things can save you and the baby:

1. if you can, leave the room or the house even. just get some space. you're being ragebaited. you need to breathe. let someone else handle the baby for a minute
2. i know it sounds annoying but, just hang in there. it probably feels like it will be like this forever, like a bad trip, but it will pass. of course get everything checked out by a doctor, but chances are it's just "nothing" and you just have to push through
3. it might also be gas actually. remember to fart your baby. more often than you think
4. again just hang in there. it's not forever. think of it like military torture training. you're getting torture training for free! you're going to be a lot more resilient once you're through, but for now you just have to survive NOW - not tomorrow or the whole week. survive now!
5. and seriously fart your baby. gas sucks and sometimes they can't do anything about it. get one of those baby frida things
6. don't tell anybody about this but worst case scenario a couple of minutes of screen time is a thousand times better than you crashing out at them or around them. screens are mostly bad for what they replace, and right now they're replacing something worse. just don't get lazy with it, you don't want to teach them that crashing out means free dopamine
7. also practicing meditation/prayer helps a LOT actually. and twitter
