@FroemelAndy@BBCWorld What do you think a population cap entails? Immigration is how many western countries stimulate population growth since their birth rates are too low to sustain continued economic growth. This population cap is heavily reliant on restricting immigration.
@DuncanAdley Ah yes, a strongman dictator. No handing over of the political baton ever so often to generate economic whiplash and disrupt progress. Executions for anyone who goes against the state, including corrupt individuals at the state and local levels. No free expression.
@elonmusk A single migrant attempted a beheading. Most migrants, note the plurarl here, are going about their days peacefully trying to make ends meet.
@Bizkit68390579@NumbuhJay@NationOrder@anrkiss The current jamaican economy, even after Hurricane melissa, is the strongest economy in decades. This is a very measurable fact. There is no argument to be had about it. If you count police killings, of MURDERERS, homicide is stil the lowest its been in decades.
@justprince The widespread pearl clutching over Ukraine and the the lack thereof when it comes to Palestine and Lebanon are the greatest pieces of evidence that geopolitics in the West is grounded in thinly veiled colourism.
@ThisisCourtneyS@ArcSenpai@Fata_dana_pound But outages of a similar magnitude happen frequently enough. You've just never been in the right place for it. Texas has lost power due to their grid being overloaded in winter, most of nova scotia loses power whenever there's a breeze.
@perryodontology Without identifying the other 3rd world countries that have an Apple store, the entire premise of your argument should be interpreted as false. Globally speaking, apple only has stores in 27 countries. Most of the world doesn't have these stores so what are you comparing?
@Tyrone876@Zauvaughn T&T's GDP is barely larger than Jamaica's whilst producing black gold. What's going on? It should be at least double. When you look at the comic realities, this is nothing to boast about.
@perryodontology@RonBabylon Since you seem to have a big misunderstanding of either definition of "third world", I highly doubt that the unnamed countries you are comparing to even fit the colloquial definition. At the very least , the credit ratings and GDP/capita of those countries would be much better.
@perryodontology@RonBabylon Jamaica doesn't really fit either of those bills. You may think it does in your confirmation bias addled brain, but it it doesn't. No currently available data supports your claim. Jamaica needs an investment grade rating to attract investment from companies like Apple.
