Today in church, our pastor announced that ₦800,000 was missing from last Sunday’s tithe and offering.
Last Sunday was Youth Sunday, and the youths were fully in charge of the service.
After the service, they reportedly handed over just ₦120,000 as the total amount realised.
Pastor said the figure made no sense, so they brought out the church record book.
According to the records, the least amount ever generated on a Sunday this year was ₦680,000.
Silence everywhere.
Nobody knows who took the money.
Pastor said:
“Anything youth programme, I don’t want to hear it again in this church.”
Omorh… the atmosphere in church today was something else.
@Pharmlennial If I ever get into the governing body(PCN) this is the one thing I'll enforce, quacks have no business handling drugs. After I finish with them, I'll face patent medicine sellers. Pharmacy must remain a noble profession.
One of my main issues with community pharmacy practice, is how it forces you to go beyond your scope, there are a lot of other things I'd rather do in pharmacy than being a community pharmacist. But it's not a Pharmacy practice problem, it's a Nigerian problem.
I don’t mean to brag, but I know the remuneration standards for young pharmacists that I have been able to reform in Imo State. When I first got here, they were being paid peanuts. Currently, a lot has improved drastically.
I i was telling my wife the other day that I feel so bad for Gen zs and the generation after them.
I was at an event that had a lot of them, and it was just sad.
Bad Govt and bad economy have robbed them of having a vibrant social life.
They hardly buy drinks at the club, can't afford cars, and can't afford decent apartments, so they create their own little way of having fun in raves and the likes.
No money to afford drinks. That's why you see prevalent recreational drug use in that demographic
From Uni, I was able to properly plan and go clubbing and will have such an amazing time, i would fly from Benin to Lagos with 10k then and not pay it any thought.
When I started working, my first car was 700k, a 2006 EOD in 2012 then, and when I moved to my first apartment. Rent was 1m for a 2bed on the island, and 1hp ac was 60k.
I remember buying a ticket to Venice for 180k and changing 2000usd for 360k at southern sun that year.
I feel so bad for them, their youth taken away from them because bad govt after bad govt, devaluation after devaluation.
Port Harcourt police na different breed I swear 😂

My guy just revice back then zoom off. I nearly die for laugh.
