@outofdeception@GraceHopeLoveMK@EvidenceOfFaith@JamesBjorlie he’s trying to deem himself a true prophet of God - so he tries to liken himself to the last prophet of God. Akin to how we have ppl claiming to be Christ today. Does it make it true? are you dumb?
1. Cultural normal were different during different times - yet you’re incapable of giving context of historical norms.
3. Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) other wives were much older, so idk why you’re using pluralistic terms.
What you have to grapple with is the desecration of prophets in the OT and the narratives of them engaging in immoral acts
1. Polygamy is not prescribed nor endorsed in Islam, in fact it places limitations.
2. Enlighten me who the authors are. Who are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? Are they contemporaries of Jesus? We both know the answers to these simple questions.
3. What you’re describing is prophecy which yes, is God’s word communicated to prophets. However the Bible is clearly a mix of actual prophecy transcribed mixed with the word of men who were not prophets themselves.
4. The trinity is monotheistic? do you hear yourself? Islam is clear cut. One God, Omnipotent, He does not beget nor is He begotten. Christianity adopted Roman and Greek mythology to make it more appetizing to the Roman empire.
5. You didn’t answer my question.
1. Does the OT have polygamy?
2. The Bible’s authors are literally unknown, with inherent contradictions between the writings.
3. Islam is purely monotheistic. LDS and Christianity are not.
4. Scientific claims are not innaccurate in the Qur’an - but what may be is your interpretation. It is Galileo that was persecuted for objecting to the Christian heliocentric model.
