The Spurs have the ball down 98-88
• Refs miss a goaltending call
• Ball goes off Chet’s foot
• They ignore the coach’s challenge request
• SGA gets free throws
• Mitch Johnson is hit with a tech
• Lu Dort and Tony Brothers laughing on the sideline
Us fans deserve better than this smh
One of the most unlikely slams you will ever see!
A year ago today, Padres relief pitcher Daniel Camarena helped spark a massive rally.
(MLB x @DairyQueen)
-a shitty reliever
-who can’t hit
-is called up to be his 2nd ever game in the MLB
-2nd career ever plate appearance
-gets first career hit
-first career hit was a HR
-against best pitcher in baseball
-the bases also happened to be loaded
-so it was a GRAND SLAM
-at home
-after being down 0-2 in the count
-they end up winning the game after being down 8-0 too
-also it was a really good nasty pitch, just insanely elite hitting
-first HR Scherzer has ever given up to any pitcher, let alone a reliever
-it was a no doubter
And I’m probably still missing things that make this even MORE rare and unlikely to ever happen again. Truly truly insane, how can you not be romantic about baseball. A true miracle happened
Inside The NBA: While discussing Jason Collins' passing, Charles Barkley: "We live in a homophobic society ... anybody who think we ain't got a bunch of gay players in all sports, they're just stupid."
