China has started mass producing immersion DUV lithography machines, these machines are capable of making semiconductors down to the 5nm node, after multi-patterning.
With this machine mastered, China can make everything under the sun with the exception of the EUV lithography machine, but that is coming soon, sooner than most people would expect.
All the subsystems for EUV lithography machines are done, a working prototype is running since late 2025.
Total industrial and supply chain independence is almost here. After this, we won't need to worry about any forms of sanctions or embargos.

Matn Ibn Ashir (al-Murshid al-Mu'in) is a concise didactic poem composed by the 17th-century scholar Ibn Ashir, systematically covering three pillars:
Ash'ari creed (aqida),
Maliki jurisprudence (fiqh),
and Junaydi Sufi spirituality (tasawwuf) — the traditional intellectual foundation of Algerian Sunni Islam.
Algerians memorized it as children because its rhymed verse form makes doctrine and law easy to retain through recitation, giving young students a compact, structured foundation in correct belief and practice before they're old enough for deeper theological study — a centuries-old Algerian pedagogical method for transmitting orthodox Sunni Maliki-Ash'ari religious identity generation to generation.

Two questions about the Tiznit highway:
1) Can Pres. Trump find Morocco on a map?
2) Does King Mohamed VI (جل جلاله) know that Morocco is naming the highway after Trump?

NASA has released one of the most detailed visualizations ever created of Earth’s ocean currents.
Using data from satellites and advanced ocean models, the map reveals massive rivers of moving water, swirling eddies hundreds of miles wide, and the powerful Gulf Stream carrying warm water from the Gulf of Mexico across the Atlantic.
In most countries, earning a PhD means writing a dissertation.
Hundreds of pages of theory, research, and citations that very few people will ever read.
China decided to try something different.
Under a law passed in 2024, select universities can now award engineering doctorates based on physical prototypes, new techniques, or major installations instead of traditional papers. The rule is straightforward: build something that works in real life and at scale, and you can graduate.
The first cohort has already finished.
Zheng Hehui earned his doctorate by designing reinforced steel blocks that snap together like Lego to form massive bridge pylons. His invention is already in use on the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge, the world's longest cable-stayed bridge.
Wei Lianfeng became the first practical PhD graduate at Harbin Institute of Technology by developing vacuum laser welding processes for the Nuclear Power Institute of China.
Another candidate built a fire-fighting system for large seaplanes.
At least 11 engineers have now earned their doctorates through this route.
Since 2022, more than 60 universities and 100 companies have collaborated, selecting over 20,000 students for practical doctorate programmes.
The goal is to close the gap between academic theory and industrial application, particularly in fields like artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
One student built a bridge. Another welded nuclear components.
And they got the same three letters as everyone else.
The US doesn't have such a program. What do you think? Good idea or not? Weigh in
Merci Airbus.
