The people with real problems, high intent, and money to spend?
They still need your website.
The game isn't about getting the most traffic anymore.
It's about getting the right traffic—and converting it.
What's dying is the business model of getting millions of low-intent visitors and monetizing them with ads.
The people looking for quick answers are disappearing.
We were about to pay $1,344/year for emails.
7 SaaS × 2 co-founders = 14 mailboxes. At $8/user/month, Google wanted $112/month.
For inboxes we barely open.
Switched to Migadu: unlimited domains, unlimited mailboxes. $19/year.
$1,344 → $19. Not affiliated, just relieved.
@VadimStrizheus UGC reels don’t always work. Most social media algorithms tend to prioritize content based on your geo-location, so if you’re targeting a different market, it can become a problem. We’ve produced many reels for Instagram and TikTok, but most of them barely got any views.
tried it once… everything was behind a paywall 😅
couldn't really see what it does before paying.
imagine if it just showed you one thing for free like "hey you have broken links" that little WOW MOMENT would've hooked me instantly.
just a thought if you are building something similar!
Yeeey 🎉 Honestly did not think SEO would work this well!
3 months ago we decided to get serious about our SEO. Here's what we did:
- 🧑💻 Improved our landing page keywords
- 🛠️ Added free tools in our niche
-✍️ Created high quality blogs (only 6 in total!)
After some time… SEO started to kick in. The results are insane 🤯
Now we're planning to invest even more time into SEO
PS: somehow AI is citing us a lot these days... not entirely sure how, but people are reaching out because ChatGPT suggested us 😂🤖 We'll take it!
@romanbuildsaas A reply rate above 1% is actually pretty decent for cold email 😄
But jumping to 4k emails/day in one day sounds way too aggressive tbh. Wouldn’t Google/Microsoft instantly see that as spam behavior?
@johancutych Its funny because yesterday, i was talking to my co-founder about this exact issue... like isnt there a tool to share context between team or do we have to always start a new conversation.
Congratz for your launch and I will give this a shot 😄
i have been thinking about cold mailing lately. everyone says it's dead but honestly?
i still get replies when the email actually feels like a human wrote it.
the trick isn't some magic template it's just not being lazy about it.
curious though whats working for you guys right now? or have you given up on cold email entirely?
We tried cold emailing and got slapped by AWS.
It turns out it's against AWS policies. We spent days setting up domains, plunk, mailboxes, and a lot of techy DNS configurations.
Cold emailing shouldn’t be that hard.
So we said fuck it, let's build a tool to make this simpler 🚀
Building in public and sharing the journey 😁
We built alot of stuff and failed multiple times before. We understood the hard way that distribution matters moooore than we think … especially for technical founders.
One thing that worked for us so well is that we get an influencer in that niche as a co founder and handles distribution for us.
shitty ads convert more than good ones.
We ran an experiment and we produced 2 types of ads:
- average quality ads
- intentionally shitty ads
The shitty ads converted more.
We didn't expect it and we don't fully understand why.
we have partnered with agencies and they produce polished high quality ads but they do not convert ...
But the rough, ugly ones, they do !
My guess is that shitty ads dont look like ads, they blend in and the polished ones scream "I am trying to sell you smth"
Have you noticed this with your ads too?
