Take Rebecca Mose. It was not disputed that she was born HIV positive to an HIV-positive mother. It was not disputed that she was enrolled in care at AMPATH. It was not disputed that she later tested HIV negative.

More importantly, it was not disputed that senior AMPATH professors convened, reviewed her case, and confirmed her HIV-negative status.

Those are not media claims. They are verified and established medical facts.

What was carefully avoided is the ethical question that follows:

If a patient is repeatedly confirmed HIV negative by specialists, should she remain on lifelong ARVs? Would that not constitute maleficence—causing harm through unnecessary treatment?

ARVs are not vitamins. They carry metabolic, hepatic, renal, and long-term systemic effects. Continuing them in a confirmed HIV-negative patient violates basic principles of clinical ethics.

TV47 argues she should not have been removed from care by NASCOP or any authority. But medicine is not governed by sentiment or fear—it is governed by current evidence. When evidence changes, care must change.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent media coverage regarding our worship practices and The Prophet of the LORD. It is important to clarify the perspective of the believers against what appears to be a coordinated attempt to spread malice.

First, the media is not a theological authority. We do not require a newsroom to teach us how to worship; the Bible is our sole guide.

The media's focus on "healing" misses the fundamental point of our faith. We go to church to prepare for the glorious coming of Jesus Christ. While we celebrate miracles, they are secondary. A believer can enter the Kingdom of Heaven while still blind or crippled, as spiritual salvation far outweighs physical restoration.

The recent coverage regarding the Prophet and our church reveals a calculated and malicious motive rather than a pursuit of truth. The selective reporting is glaring: the media focused solely on Peter Oyan’s documents and Rebecca Okinyuri’s verbal claims not her documents, while completely ignoring the physical documentation of the other 28 HIV healings.

Why was no time taken to fully investigate all 30 cases? This failure to perform due diligence reveals a clear bias intended to mislead the public.

The Kenyan media, former members, and certain government officials should understand that character assassination does not reduce visibility; it only strengthens our resolve.

History has shown that the more a Prophet is targeted, the more the devotion of the faithful grows. We remain unshaken in our mission to prepare for the coming of Christ, and we demand the right to worship in peace without state or media interference.

We ask for the simple right to worship in peace, free from targeted hostility. We are not asking you to worship with us.
