Trees of Kenya.

Kenya has varying tree cover across the country. Highland areas tend to have forests, continuous canopies or tall trees as shown in the map.

Low-lying areas have shorter trees that are sparsely distributed.

Samburu is mountain County where numerous peaks jut out of the expansive plains.

From this vantage point, the ancient Mt. Ololokwe and Lenkiyio mountain range are seen from the West. Milgis river drains the mountains of Samburu, flowing to Cherab plains in Isiolo.
