@AirbnbHelp @_rybot_ @heyPhammy @beccadean same thing happened to me on Thursday, 6 hours before I flew to Athens and my Airbnb booking. Airbnb's system really needs looking into - I had to contact through my boyfriend's account and Twitter.

Tonight I had my @Airbnb_uk account hacked. They have stolen over £500 (leaving me in an overdraft) and cancelled all my bookings - including my one for tomorrow in Athens. Airbnb are proving no help - how can I get this resolved please?! #airbnb #hacked

@juicytoms10 @HelenKnapman Hi Lucy, also had the same problem on Friday and my mum's colleague did too (both bookings in Romania). Lots in American press at the moment - https://t.co/QHLQLS9pjW. Airbnb still denying any security breaches though!

@MissN10LONDON @Airbnb_uk They sorted it for me over the weekend which was a big relief. My partner rebooked our Airbnb for us thankfully but it was such a massive worry. Also know somebody else who was hacked on Friday - from Romania the same as me! Are you sorted?

@MissN10LONDON @Airbnb_uk It’s an absolute nightmare! I rang my bank straight away and cancelled my car but think they’ve got my money now unfortunately. Have you had any luck with @Airbnb_uk? I haven’t heard a thing and had a booking today in Athens so had to get my partner to rebook!

@HelenKnapman actually flying to Athens at 6am and the hackers cancelled my apartment and have taken £506 too (and cancelled a booking for end of the month). Completely distressing and @Airbnb_uk has no interest in helping!

@HelenKnapman hi Helen, came across your @Airbnb_uk article. Had the exactly same thing happen to me this evening and Airbnb are proving no help. Truly believe there has been a data breach (perhaps on the app as only downloaded this week and now out of pocket!)
