@LukaszukAB @ABDanielleSmith It’s all about addressing election “fraud.”Right now, you need to be a Canadian citizen to vote in any election (fed, provincial, municipal).But only the feds have this info and there is no way for the province or municipalities to verify citizenship at polls in their elections.

@CoryBMorgan UCP reversed this ban for municipal elections in Bill 20. For municipal elections in 2025 unions and corporations can now donate total candidates, local political parties, and third party advertisers.

@MissFit_ I also have Trupanion for our GSD. Because of the direct billing and how the cover each “issue.” Our pup got shoulder surgery at 6 months. No issues getting coverage and now anything future issues related to his shoulder issue fall under the same claim. No more deductible.

@TheBreakdownAB ,in their roles as councillors, acted in ways that contravened the Municipal Government Act. They didn’t follow the rules, and after a two-year process, were dismissed because they continued to refuse to follow the rules despite being given every opportunity to change.

This account - these situations are VERY different. Chu’s issues had nothing to do with his work as a councillor. Cannot dismiss a councillor just because you don’t like something from their past. The Chestermere councillors/1
