Just some pointers regarding the extremely clear scouting bonus rules:

First off, this is a FIFA fantasy game. Anyone that played during the Club World Cup remembers that we learned stuff as we went on 😂

• Players could still be 5% owned and get the bonus. But they could be 5% owned and also not get the bonus…

After some digging, it seems FIFA round up / down. So a player can be 4.99% owned and show as 5%.

Or they can be 5.04% owned and still show as 5%.

Very confusing. So best to just avoid any players around 4.9% to 5% if you want the bonus.

• Secondly players have a “Matchday ownership” figure after the deadline.

This will be locked throughout the entire matchday and they’ll remain eligible for the bonus throughout based on that figure.

Then when you go onto your transfers page for the next matchday, that ownership % can immediately change and will count towards the next matchday up until that deadline… and so on!

There will be other things that are also unclear. I’m still not sure if it’s chances created or big chances created for the midfielder bonus…

In the CWC that bonus was very rarely achieved, but who knows this time round!

Ultimately this isn’t FPL and I’d recommend just taking everything as it comes with this game and just embrace the madness! 😆
