Development projects that increase the supply of scarce resources, such as water, are essential to promoting peaceful coexistence.
With Kenya having experienced the worst drought in the last 40 years, where some areas missed rainfall for four consecutive seasons, community boreholes are key resources, especially in arid and semi-arid areas.
Yesterday, a team from MaMa Doing Good, led by CEO Dr John Chumo, visited Silale in Tiaty Constituency to commission the drilling of a borehole.
By providing access to clean water, we're nurturing the foundation for growth, breaking the cycle of conflict over resources and promoting a harmonious way of life for generations to come.
Beyond water, we hope this borehole will inspire lasting peace, progress and prosperity in Silale.

I mostly visit the farm on weekends but this time decided to take the week.
This was Monday, took a walk round the farm
1: Pose with the mango tree (apple mangoes)
2: Planted sunflower as forage for my bees a while back
3: Wheat trials
4: Capsicum
For the love of trees....
During the last day of the National Climate Change Action Plan workshop for LREB and NOREB youth and we couldn't end it any better than planting assorted indigenous trees at RVTTI, Eldoret.

I am a lover of environmental conservation, ecosystem restoration, and site regeneration. I love (indigenous) trees. This is what I do to protect the planet. It's my calling.
