Greenisland FC Chess Club hosted its first simul exhibition on Friday 16th July. The Club gave a warm welcome to local youth Champion Ethan Cole (age 8). He won all 16 games with Black, congratulations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a wonderful inspiration to other children!

YOUNGSTERS RISE UP IN 2021 BLITZ RATINGS

Players in the outdoor chess events during the last quarter of 2020 have now had their games rated by the Ulster Chess Union. These competitions took place at Whitehead Railway Museum + Bangor Marina. Well done to everyone who made gains.
