One Year a Doctor: A House Officer's Review
I can’t think about that most glorious day when our dream, and my dream, became a reality without a smile breaking out. In that moment, I knew everything had changed and things would never be the same.
One house officer and nineteen medical and dental students were kidnapped two days ago on their way to the FECAMDS annual national convention, holding in Enugu State.
They were ambushed and kidnapped by armed gunmen somewhere around Otukpo, Benue State, and the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of ₦50 million for their release; otherwise, they'd start killing them this evening.
Please lend a voice!
Our colleagues must return safely, alive and unharmed.
Just a month away from graduating medical school, Omatsola's journey was tragically cut short. She was a brilliant and dedicated medical student who, despite the challenges posed by her health, never wavered in her pursuit of her medical degree.
We know that her family is grieving and facing an uncertain future, and that's why we're launching this fundraising campaign to support her family. Our goal is to raise funds that will ease the financial strain on Omatsola's family and allow them to focus on grieving and celebrating their beloved daughter, sister, and friend.
Your contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden on Omatsola's family. Please join us in honoring Omatsola FolaSade Maryjane and supporting her family during this time of profound sorrow.
