Test cricket will never die as long as there’s joy in attacking it!
If one drops identification with one’s own body and mind, which are accumulations of food and impressions, then one shall know stillness within. That is all it takes to become meditative. #SadhguruQuotes

Our Mind is our business - our primary business. The human mind is the most powerful and phenomenal Tool on this planet. It has manifested itself in the most astonishing inventions and technological advances that have become a benchmark of human ingenuity. However, all the strifes, conflicts and humanitarian crises around the world are equally a product of the human mind. This #WorldMentalHealthDay, we must commit to take charge of this magnificent tool - our mind - so that its wellbeing manifests the many miracles it is capable of, in the world around us. Let us commit to investing 7 minutes a day to experience the Miracle of Mind. -Sg

A life of extraordinary courage & conviction. Jane Goodall’s contribution to enhancing our understanding of the natural world is immeasurable. Absolutely devoted to the causes she pursued, she used her soft powerful Voice with phenomenal impact for global conservation efforts. Above all, Jane was a most wonderful human being, intimately involved with all Life around her, sharing her warmth & love with everyone she encountered. We will cherish fond memories of her spirit and her wholehearted engagement with the Save Soil Movement. Our gratitude for the matchless legacy she leaves behind. -Sg
Most deeply disturbing that our children are experiencing such levels of distress and despair. Traditionally, children were initiated into education only after they were prepared sufficiently - physically and mentally - to take on the rigors of student life. We have dismantled this system and most of our traditional support structures. It is imperative that we re-introduce methods and practices that enhance our children’s mental strength. This is the objective of the Miracle of Mind - to give the younger generation fingertip access to mental wellbeing. If every educational institution invests 7 minutes a day on a simple meditative process, it will greatly enhance the mental wellbeing of their wards and wardens. We must make this happen because no progress of any kind is worthwhile or meaningful for the Nation if young people feel shortchanged by it. -Sg

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is an epitome of Rashtra Bhakti. Their Nationalism has been a vital bridge during some of the most trying periods of Bharat’s recent history. Congratulations on completing a hundred years of service and sacrifice of a very silent sort. 🙏🏽 -Sg @RSSorg
Human beings desperately resort to chemicals in the form of drugs and alcohol, not realizing that all the ingredients for a blissful chemistry lie within us. There is a way to be utterly intoxicated and fully aware at the same time from within. Once you are blissful by your own nature, you always see that your life is super. This is not about trying to become superhuman. This is about realizing, being human is super.

I went to a temple for darshan and then to a restaurant.
And guess what… people stepping out of the restaurant looked more joyful than those coming out of the temple 😅
It reminded me of what Sadhguru often says, spirituality is not about becoming serious, it’s about becoming more alive, more joyful.
If food can light up our faces, why shouldn’t devotion? A temple is meant to be a space of exuberance, not heaviness.
Maybe the real offering we can take back from the temple is the ability to walk out smiling, nourished from within, the same way we do after a good meal 🍛🙏
First, the assumption that Sadhguru is “ignorant of scriptures” comes from a very limited idea of what spirituality means.
In the yogic tradition, the source of knowing is not just the written word but direct inner experience. Scriptures themselves say this repeatedly. For example, the Upanishads declare: “Shruti, yukti, anubhuti”, true knowledge comes from scripture, reason and above all, experience.
Sadhguru never positions himself as a scriptural scholar but as a yogi. A yogi speaks from lived reality, not memorized verses. Many rishis of the past, who gave us the very scriptures we revere today, were not quoting from a prior book: they were speaking from their realization.
Second, in yogic and tantric traditions nudity has never been a matter of vulgarity or scandal. It is a powerful symbol of absolute vulnerability, complete openness, and the shedding of every layer of identity. To stand unclothed before existence means there is no longer any mask, role, or social identity between you and the Divine.
This is the same reason why ascetics renounce clothing or possessions altogether. It is not a rejection of decency, but a profound statement that they belong only to the path of liberation, free from every binding of society.
Many scriptures describe Maa Parvati’s penance as one of unparalleled intensity. She renounced the comforts of her royal birth, gave up food, ornaments, and even the last covering of the body to express her one pointed devotion and dedication to Shiva.
If one reads with sensitivity, it is clear that such descriptions are not about physical nudity as we understand it socially. It is about stripping away all attachments, all identities, and even the last veil of protection so that one stands before the Creator with absolute openness.
So, to answer directly: Sadhguru is not “ignorant of scriptures.” He simply does not rely on parroting texts for authority, because his authority comes from lived experience.
Either someone is genuinely seeking, in which case they explore with sincerity, or one is just playing the 'ex-devotee' card to sound more credible while defaming. The latter is transparent, and people can see through it.
