If you’re going to ask what created God, there’s a simpler answer than metaphysical gymnastics.
We did.
Early humans looked at the sun, the moon, the storms, the animals, death itself, and tried to make sense of it. Before we had physics, we had stories. Before we had astronomy, we had sky gods. The sun becomes a deity. The storm gets a name. Ancestors become spirits. Spirits become pantheons.
Over thousands of years, those stories layer on top of each other. Ra. Zeus. Odin. Jupiter. Yahweh. Different names, different cultures, same human impulse. Explain the unknown. Promise meaning. Promise that death is not the end. Promise order in chaos.
Anthropology shows ritual and symbolic behavior long before organized religion. Cave art. Burials with goods. Totems. We were building meaning into the world before we had written language. Gods evolved with us because they were reflections of us.
So if someone asks what created God, the most grounded answer is this. Human imagination, fear, hope, and storytelling did.
@philosophymeme0 A Christian would say something like, “Creations only exist inside of time. So nothing is created outside of time. God existed before time began and therefore exists outside of time. God was not created by anything. Everything else is created.”
Or something like that.
