@Illoath 🇷🇺had her chance to exercise soft power after tbe SU break up; instead, 🇷🇺ns came up with infinite derogatory names for 🇬🇪🇰🇿🇺🇿🇺🇦etc.
I sure hope Ukraine has what it takes to strike Russia deep and bring this unjust war to Russians. Russia offers nothing but death.
@Illoath What’s Atlanticism got to do with the cold blooded murder of 100,000s of people? This logic is all the more the reason to resist Russia with everything Ukraine has.
@Illoath And what happens afterwards? Ca 30M enraged Ukrainians living under a brutal occupation - will they not resist? In parts of Ukraine resistance to the SU went on well into the 1950ies (after the WW2).
I hate war but I think Ukraine should have the weapons to hit Russia deep.
@ANILAWHITNEY I have had the luck of moving a lot from one country to another. There is nothing like waking up on the first morning and thinking ‘I am going to build a life here for myself’.. and then the little surprises by your new neighbors, friends, random people.
I hate war.
@Arteymas_ Go to a place called the Red bridge (between 🇬🇪 🇦🇿 and 🇦🇲) and watch farmers speak 4 languages (+Russian) and some even throw in some English, and do so quite casually. There may be more but I may have missed them.
@RUBICONCROSS2@ShoahUkraine It was not just Russians. All the nations of the former SU went to that just war, including my grandfather did. It was a war of survival. While it is true, Russians were the heart of the resistance, all peoples contributed their fair share.
@klarajayavesela@Kasparov63 He’s a chess player. An 8 x 8 board, solved mathematically, no longer a mystery to a machine. Yes, computationally challenging, but that’s all. Other than that, he talks. He invented the ‘wrong Russians’ - an ugly term. He knows how to malign.
@Nostre_damus Why were the gloves on? Did Russia not plan to win the war from the beginning? Not planning on winning the hearts and minds of Ukraine? What was the idea, pray tell?!
@Kasparov63 One could argue that when Europeans went to colonized lands, they did not exactly comply with local customs, broke doors, then furniture, and then skulls, rendering the colonized lands impoverished leaving the local population little choice but emigration to Europe.
@Kasparov63 What business is it of yours? You, too, are an immigrant, running from a degenerate regime. You want a good life, not much different from the people you, for no apparent reason, have chosen to demonize.
@MartinScopes No! Pedestrians should not be allowed to be reckless in this reckless world. We all must first and foremost, take care of ourselves and those closest to us.
The Rhind Mathematical Papyrus is the oldest manuscript written in algebra and trigonometry, dating back to 3,550 years ago.
It shows that the Egyptians used first-order equations, geometric series and a second-order algebraic equation, related to the Pythagorean theorem a² + b² = c²
It also describes how to obtain an approximation of π accurate to within less than 1% and one of the earliest attempts at squaring the circle.
