A 17-year-old valedictorian, Leen Hijaz, used her graduation speech to speak for the voiceless: "Millions suffering in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Afghanistan. Families torn apart by ICE."
The school administrator cut her mic. Told her: "If you don't stop, you're not graduating." They withheld her diploma for four days.
the reason why Palestine isn’t being seen anymore because there’s barely any journalists left. 20% of Lebanon is now under Israeli occupation. 12 million people have been displaced in Sudan. Over 25 million people are facing acute hunger in Congo. Don’t stop talking.

@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE collaborating with apple dior etc is not a punk mindset. If they are truly authentic in their music that doesn’t make them special as im sure other kpop groups likely also put in a lot of input after a certain level of success and fame
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE never said they were inauthentic idk them personally . A lot of celebrities are in this category it make someone punk or not punk. While authenticity is apart of punk its not what makes someone wholly punk. You can’t just erase all marketing bc thats what funds this
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE organization that big hit is still under. they clearly fund and participate in running so they can make money. An organization which yes funds peoples dreams of being dancers and etc but still forms these ppl into being perfect celebs and still makes money for hybe aka not punk
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE 1. i know nobody is calling them a punk band im speaking of the historical label punk is more than music and this is one part where i think we’ll just fundamentally disagree but theyre still making money for a large corporation so imo not punk
2.Hybe is the umbrella…
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE they corporate being punk was never corporate you can’t be in their position of being trained by a corporation to produce music thats off shoots of blk culture and be punk. Even in the west there are no mainstream punk groups so why would highly a highly manufactured
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE and this is not to be mean bc most mainstream musicians worldwide are corporate but the kpop industry doesn't even try to fake punk, you can enjoy it and thats fine but calling it punk is silly
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE environment like kpop have one. The punk label gets thrown around when majority of the time the ppl are not punk theyre just corporations jumping on a popular term/movement. Punk is inherently a political label.
@AnomanVuu@dragalgestan@SLAYYY0NCE thay last sentence is essentially where you go wrong punk is not pop culture is counterculture real punk will not popular in a capitalist system
According to white leftists you can be a literal mercenary in multiple U.S imperial wars who cries about his homies getting their heads blown smoove off when they served in Iraq and still be considered a progressive politician
Rural indigenous communities have surrounded Evo Morales' residence to protect him. Leaked docs (attached below) show US armed forces & Bolivian police preparing a joint operation to kidnap him & massacre villagers.
"If we surrender now, how will our future generations live?"
@dyingnome the funny thing is the story choices they want don’t even make sense and is clearly based on how much they want their fav on screen yet some how jess setting up a story that needed set up is favoritism/self inserting
