@iamMikeA@BenPopeCST You're right, I did forget to include the worst modern NHL draft class in recent memory into my sample size.. So, it's not "0" evidence, but it's incredibly minimal.
"Ironically", the evidence of the top 3 picks following consensus is MUCH stronger than the Shane Wright counter.
@TheProspectDon FYI: think something is *likely* broken.. Finally got 84-0 w/ pictured lines (+ doubt possibility of putting together better lines - played enough to be confident there 😅), but had to run multiple sims to get it.
Also, "Scoring" w/ this line is still *only* 86th percentile.. 🤔
@TD19blackhawks@TheProspectDon Same team in all 4 pictures (plus I ran a 5th Sim, my first run, that was a 78-6 result). So, it's got some weirdness going on.
@TheProspectDon It seems the only way you can get to that 90th percentile mark is to have 3 copies of 80's Oilers' Gretzky and 2 copies of 70's Bruins' Orr (or maybe even 6 copies of 80s Oilers Gretzky!)?.. 🤔
I have had a team that average ~11.6 PPG, and it was only 64th percentile scoring! 😬
@BearsNationCHI Why did this post get the "Paid Partnership" tag? Are you the reason 'Flus hung around in Chicago for a year longer than he should have!? 🤔
@qwetz29 I agree! I think how his ability to get to the hoop translates, and his development of a mid threat he can consistently hit are the biggest ❓s for a "Superstar" path. But, I have no doubt about his work ethic/will to get there!
That, to me, is more important than "athleticism"!
@qwetz29 Everyone seemingly thinks athleticism is binary, either you have it or you don't, and that it can't be improved...
I think the Adam Archuleta story is a great example of why that's 100% not true.
@qwetz29 Exactly. And Keat *just* turned 19.. There is no reason to think he can't improve his ("common") athleticism by diving fully into an NBA-level plyometric training program to focus on improving his biggest "weakness" (since he was mostly just focused on weight/strength w/ Fletch).
