Bob Myers in Chicago with a coaching search, 2 lottery picks and ample cap space.
Thats the Ben Johnson move. Only answer here imo. Anything else is Reinsdorf in the way
.@NickFriedell on Bulls executives Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley: "These guys are terrible. They are one of the worst front offices I can ever remember in the NBA. And the fact that they're still going and it's still happening is a joke."
Arturas Karnisovas was deeply terrible at his job. Not sure I trust big Mike Reinsdorf to hire someone better since he's the one who hired AK, but it would honestly be hard to do worse. I can't believe they actually fired him.
BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls have dismissed executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley, sources tell ESPN.
Would love to see more of this in 2026 as the game continues to slow down for Caleb. Would also love to see him snap the ball more often when defenses are running defenders off the field to draw too many men on the field penalties. Small things like these can go a long way
I love how every Bulls trade evaluation follows the same formula:
Other team: Masterful job! Great fit and value. Great job maneuvering the cap. Shocked they didn't have to give up any first round picks!
Bulls: What are they doing here? They could have easily gotten more picks
“I think he’s an absolute, A-plus, perfect fit.”
@BillSimmons and @ZachLowe_NBA believe the Timberwolves made a massive upgrade by trading for Ayo Dosunmu.
@Schuster_Elias And their own first round pick was already lottery protected!! All they had to do was sell last year to ensure they had their own pick regardless!
The "pass" category here does include sacks taken, partially why Caleb was 31/32 in pass EPA last year. And of course he showed lots of growth beyond evading sacks
Can young QBs improve their accuracy? Goff and Allen had below average CPOEs their first few years and have become some of the most accurate passers in football. Caleb has all the talent/tools to improve here
A little dive into Caleb's EPA/play stats this year, breaking out his performance by play type. Caleb was an above average passer, a great scrambler, and was hurt by a few poor sneaks/designed runs, botched snaps, and penalties (mostly not his fault)
