Not that you should be using Rotten Tomatoes scores to make your moviegoing decisions...
But I can't think of a single other example of anyone but #TheFurious landing 100 percent.
Netflix literally said multiple times during the WB bidding war that they’d keep Warner Bros as a completely separate theatrical division and Netflix as the streaming division. They promised to honor the theatrical model, 45-day windows, the whole thing. Ted Sarandos and the execs repeated it publicly and under oath.
@cosmicbooknews knows this. They’re just straight up spinning a narrative. Now they’re acting shocked that Netflix’s streaming film guy says they won’t bend over for theatrical-first filmmakers. No shit — Netflix was NEVER the theatrical division. WB would have been their theatrical arm.
These outlets are lying and spinning because they’re feeling the heat of the Paramount-WBD deal potentially falling apart after feeding their audience bullshit throughout this entire transaction. Call it what it is.
if Superman: The Movie (1978) is so great why did WB have no problem firing and replacing Donner?
If Christopher Nolan and the TDK trilogy are so great why did WB fuck up and fumble him?
If Tim Burton and his movies are so great why was he replaced by WB?
