@HGloveWell@halomancer1 Sorry, I missed that you had replied to this before moving to BlueSky!
This was Shadow of the Bat, issue 4. Batman gets himself committed to find out how Zsasz (in his first appearance!) is escaping from Arkham to commit murders on the outside.
@NeonTailzz@tonygoldmark There's a procedure that involves having botulism injected into your face and they don't seem to have a problem with *that*, so it must be something else.
@neofox5 @the_moviebob For my money, The Last Jedi is a top three Star Wars movie and the best thing in the franchise since RoJ, Luke's character arc in it was perfect, both for itself and as a conclusion to his original arc, and his ending was Shawshank-level satisfying.
@neofox5 @the_moviebob To be clear, this is not my perspective; the people whining about it are the people who read the 150-odd novels that extend the story somewhere along the lines of 40 years after Return of the Jedi, most of which I found to be unreadable trash.
@the_moviebob Maybe you've heard of this little revolution in a film canister called Pulp Fiction? Hollywood should make more movies like that!
I mean, sure, they did do that for about five years and most of them were awful, but still!
@IwriteOK His very first appearance told us he was a tactical genius because unlike Darth Vader he didn't murder his subordinates for a single failure.
