@JunohGaming@HeroOfKVcache Thank you for the insight 👌. For me, it is more the texture and light choices than scale that makes a real change when I look at old artworks.
@BowdenSalis@HeroOfKVcache The scale seems fine to me. If I had to guess, it would have been the light and texture choices that seem a bit too yellow and joyful compared to this picture, for example:
June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.
Check in on your squad. Check in on yourself. And if it's heavy, ask for help. That's strength too.
You're not alone in this.
Shift Up said they're taking feedback from Eve to develop Evie, claiming that some players didn't like Eve's personality and that her appeal was based solely on her appearance. The next game, according to them, will feature a protagonist who has a full of personality.
I don't really buy that. What I loved about Eve was her calm, empathetic nature. To me, she felt more like a companion than a larger-than-life protagonist constantly demanding attention. Not every video game character needs to be overly complex, hyper-expressive, or endlessly talkative. Sometimes less works better than more.
It's something I think Shift Up should reconsider. The idea that Eve had "no personality" was also a criticism pushed heavily by journalists, and I never agreed with it. Her personality was subtle, not absent.
