🚨 SCHUMER SOUNDS THE ALARM OVER THE SAVE AMERICA ACT — warning that the legislation “could disenfranchise over 20 MILLION American citizens.”

Democrats have vowed to fight the bill aggressively, while Republicans argue it would strengthen election safeguards by requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship for federal voter registration and photo ID for voting.

But an important distinction: Schumer did NOT say those 20 million people are illegal immigrants or Democratic voters. His claim is that eligible U.S. citizens could face registration problems because they lack ready access to qualifying citizenship documents. Election experts say the actual number who could ultimately be prevented from voting is uncertain.

Trump has made passage of the SAVE America Act a major priority. In June, he even canceled a planned signing ceremony for bipartisan housing legislation and said he would not sign it until Congress passed the election bill.
