This week the Saskatchewan Marshals service is working with the @PAPoliceService and patrolling evacuee centres in the area.
We were proud to stand alongside the La Ronge RCMP in supporting road closures and community patrols.

Update: The SMS has been dispatched into the tri-community area (La Ronge/ Air Ronge and Lac La Ronge Indian band) to support the RCMP.
Marshals will be working throughout the night into tomorrow to ensure community safety.

@SKMarshals @sasktodayca The wellbeing of our first responders, including police, is so important. The SMS was honoured to partner with Dr. Carleton in this most important initiative.
Earlier today, SMS met with the Treaty Commissioner, Dr. Walker at Provincial HQ.
The SMS and OTC will be partnering on Treaty education for all SMS staff.
We are all Treaty people and this is one of many actions SMS will be employing to continue our learning paths.
