I visited the GIRLS CAN event today in the @TownofLaSalle hosted by the @BorderCity_AC. Outstanding women leaders mentoring young women. A huge thank you to the volunteers and sponsors!
Officers responded to an armed person call in the area of Simcoe St S and Wentworth St E in Oshawa. During the interaction, an officer and the suspect were shot. The officer has been transported to a Toronto area trauma centre in critical but stable condition. The suspect was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
S/Sgt. McCabe will be providing an update at the scene. Time and location will be provided shortly.

Harrow Man Arrested for Impaired Driving
On November 24th, LaSalle Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon further investigation, a 31-year-old male from Harrow was arrested and charged for several offences.
