غیر مقبول عمران خان

رجیم چینج سے پہلے عمران خان غیر مقبول نہیں تھا، عمران خان کا کور ووٹر خاموش تھا ۔ جس قدر تیز رفتار تبدیلی کی انہیں امید تھی وہ ہو نہ سکی تو لوگ مایوس ہوئے ، پھر انہی لوگوں کو رجیم چینج کے بعد سے اب تک یہی سمجھ آرہی ہے کہ وہ تیز رفتار تبدیلی آکیوں نہ سکی۔ عمران خان غیر مقبول نہیں تھا عمران خان کا کچھ ڈس کنیکٹ ہوگیا تھا۔ عمران خان 2008 سے لیکر آج تک پاپولر پالیٹکس کا کھلاڑی ہے ۔ حکومت میں آنے کے بعد دو اڑھائی سال تک عمران خان کے روایتی جلسے جلوسوں کو بریک لگ گئی۔ اس کی وجہ سے لوگ اوجھل بھی ہوئے لیکن جیسے ہی عمران خان نے جلسوں کا سلسلہ شروع کیا گیج وہیں پر جاپہنچی۔

نو اپریل کو عمران خان کی حکومت ختم ہوئی۔ دس اپریل کو سارا پاکستان بغیر کسی کال کے سڑکوں پر تھا۔ پاکستان کی تاریخ میں اس سے پہلے ایسا نہیں ہوا۔ عمران خان غیر مقبول نہیں تھا۔ عمران خان کو غیر مقبول دکھایا جارہا تھا۔ دکھانے والے کون تھے؟ جی ہاں یہی میڈیا ہاوسز جو آجکل برہنہ ہوئے پھرتے ہیں۔ وہی صحافی جو جون 2021 سے بتا رہے تھے کہ گل ہوگئی ہے ، “ تجربہ کار “ آرہے ہیں۔ یہ وہی لوگ تھے جو سندھ ہاوس میں ہونے والی سودے بازیوں میں بھی بروکر تھے ، جو سیاستدانوں کے جہازوں کے بھی ہمسفر تھے۔

یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جن کا خیال تھا کہ نشان چھین لینے سے ، کیمپین نہ کرنے سے ، عمران خان کو جیل میں ڈال دینے سے تحریک انصاف تیس چالیس تیس چالیس تیس چالیس۔ یہ وہی ہیں جن کا خیال تھا کہ اسحاق ڈار آئے گا معیشت چلائے گا۔ یہ وہی ہیں جن میں سے کسی کا پٹرول پمپ نکلتا ہے ، کسی کے لیے کسی ادارے کی چئیرمینی نکلتی ہے ، کسی کے لیے مراعات اور لاکھوں تنخواہ کی نوکری۔

یہ مری ہوئی لکیریں ہیں اب انہیں پیٹنے سے حاصل کچھ نہیں ، لیکن تاریخ کی درستی ضروری ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا تب بھی ان سے طاقتور تھا لیکن اس میڈیا کی سانسیں چلتی تھیں۔ رجیم چینج اور اسکے بعد انکے زوال کو گئیر لگ گیا۔ رجیم چینج نا ہوتا تو یہ میڈیا پانچ سات سال مزید نکال جاتا۔

اب واپس پلٹتے ہیں ، دس اپریل ، یہ وہ دن تھا جب ابھی نااہلوں کے اس ٹولے نے ایک دن بھی اقتدار میں نہیں گزارا تھا ، ابھی انکے تباہ کن فیصلے بہت آگے تھے ، ابھی تو نئی حکومت آئی سٹاک مارکیٹ مستحکم ہوئی روپیہ اوپر گیا والی سوچ تھی اس کے باوجود لوگ ��مران خان کے لیے بغیر کسی کال کے سڑکوں پر نکل آئے اور یہ سلسلہ پورا رمضان چلتا رہا۔ ہر روز لوگ مختلف شہروں میں نکلتے اور عمران خان سے اظہار یکجہتی کرتے۔

کچھ غلطیاں بھی ہوئیں ، کچھ کوتاہیاں بھی اور غلط سیاسی فیصلے بھی ، جن کو ماپنے کا ہر کسی کا پیمانہ اپنا اپنا جدا جدا ، لیکن وقت نے ثابت کیا کہ عمران خان کے سیاسی و معاشی فیصلے بھی بہترین تھے اور عمران خان کی سفارتی پالیسی بھی۔ عمران خان پونے چار سال اقتدار میں رہا۔ نااہلوں کے اس ٹولے کو اقتدار سنبھالے چار سال ہوچکے ہیں۔ وہ پونے چار سال کہاں اور یہ چار سال کی ذلت و رسوائی کہاں۔

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan is in solitary confinement since October 16, 2025.

He has spoken to his sons only twice in 2025 and once in February 2026 after Supreme Court orders. He has been denied books to read. He has received only 3 of the dozen books that we managed to get to adiala through a judge.

Then, a perfectly health and fit Imran Khan suddenly develops a clot in his eye. He was not provided medical assistance. For two weeks, he repeatedly told the jail superintendent that he CANNOT SEE.

The Adiala Jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum DELAYED calling in a specialist for three months.

By the time the eye doctor came, the delay caused permanent damage to Imran Khan’s eye. We are extremely worried that his other eye could also develop a clot.

Imran khan has repeatedly sent messages over past few months that he is not satisfied with the treatment and there is only marginal improvement after the first injection in the eye. No improvement since then.

Over the past month, Bushra Bibi, his wife has also developed an eye condition and was operated upon last week.

Imran khan and his wife are being tortured through solitary confinement. We have repeatedly protested, demanding Imran Khan to be examined and treated at Shifa International Islamabad. There is an urgent need to identify the cause of the blood clot. Our worry is that his other eye could also develop a clot unless proper diagnosis is done and it’s treated accordingly

This is inhumane and a violation of all fundemental and human rights of a prisoner under Pakistan and International laws.

Yesterday I spoke to my father. He asked me to relay the following message:

“The judges in this country should be ashamed of themselves. Time and time again we have gone to the judiciary. But they have sold their souls for their paid personal privileges. They have sold their integrity. They know they cannot break me, so they turn to my wife. How they can allow this inhumane treatment to Bushra BiBi, simply to blackmail me. She spends 24 hours a day in isolation, except for 30 minutes with me per week - and even that is often ignored. It is unislamic to harm women, children and the elderly - and their motives are plain and clear. The judges are responsible for the justice in a society. They should be ashamed of themselves.”

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim
Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt.
This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.

It is critical and urgent that Imran Khan be examined and treated at a proper medical facility. Our recommendations to CJP clearly demanded that he be examined and treated at Shifa International Hospital (Islamabad) by specialist doctors, under the supervision of his personal physicians and in the presence of his family members. It is extremely unfortunate that Chief Justice Yahya Afridi expressed satisfaction with the doctors’ visit to Adiala Jail and completely disregarded the family’s lawful and legitimate demands.

What are they hiding?

The extraordinary effort by the government and establishment to prevent Imran Khan from being properly examined, tested, and treated in a reputable tertiary care hospital, under the supervision of his own doctors and in the presence of his family, raises serious questions. Government ministers have falsely claimed that his treatment was delayed because the family insisted on their presence along with his personal doctors. This was not a delaying tactic; it was a necessary safeguard to ensure transparency, proper care, and his safety. The additional doctor who accompanied the PIMS doctor to Adiala Jail was sent ONLY for examination, not treatment. What kind of comprehensive examinations can be conducted inside a jail facility, which lacks the equipment, environment, and safeguards of a proper hospital?

The PIMS doctors, along with a specialist from Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, were sent to Adiala Jail on Monday, 16th February, to show compliance with the deadline set by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi. However, on Tuesday, 17th February, Imran Khan conveyed a message through Bushra Bibi via her daughter, clearly stating that he was NOT satisfied with the doctors’ visit or the treatment being provided, and he specifically asked that his blood tests should be conducted in the presence of his personal doctors, Dr. Asim and Dr. Faisal. We REJECT any medical reports drawn up as a result of examinations conducted in the absence of Imran Khan’s personal physicians and family member. URGENCY IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
