Our thoughts remain with our officer and their family and the recovery road ahead. The safety of our officers and community will always be our top priority.
We are relieved to hear about the arrest of Thomas Tolbert, who was taken into custody early this morning in Ellis, Kansas. We are grateful to our law enforcement partners and especially the Kansas Bureau of Investigation for their swift and courageous work.
Thankful for the assistance of our police partners, LSFD, and doctors and nurses. 🙏 Proud to work with amazing officers and dispatchers. We appreciate the continued support and prayers.
My prayers and heart are with @IndepMoPolice. Many see them as police officers. I see them as friends, sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, brothers and sisters. Hoping for strength for all.
@QuintonLucasKC Wonderful to have all of the retail and dining available. Looks beautiful, as well. Sounds like there is a need for more parking, though...something that has always been coveted about KCI.
Our hearts are with the Hermann Police Department. Saddened to hear of the loss of Detective Sergeant Mason Griffith and hopeful for a positive recovery for the other officer involved.
Had the pleasure of swearing in five LSPD officers last night at the Regional Police Academy graduation. Brandon Breedlove, Alexis Kleinowski (resiliency award winner), Hunter Peterson (class valedictorian), Jacob Santen, and Gerard Tiedemann (who formerly worked in detention).
Such an amazing opportunity to make @LSPDPIO IMPACT lessons accessible to all 5th grade students in @LSR7 via Schoology!! @MyPowerSchool Our students are lucky to be mentored by such passionate public servants throughout the community. @ChiefTForbes#supportchange#r7proud
