The Ministry of Education is promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI) and
Computational Thinking (CT) in school education to enhance learning through
technology integration.

AI and emerging technologies have been incorporated in NCERT textbooks,
with a focus on building foundational competencies and AI literacy among
students and educators.

A dedicated CT & AI curriculum for Classes III–VIII from 2026–27, supported
by platforms such as DIKSHA, SWAYAM and PM eVidya, is strengthening
digital learning and innovation in schools.
