We are delighted to introduce the published MOCHA book. This summarises the work we have undertaken in the last 3 years to identify innovative models of child primary health care https://t.co/6pMDQYUl7c

@EU_Health A welcome report, and worrying that there is so little structured means of measuring primary care though it is the foundation of health systems. @ChildMOCHA_EU - https://t.co/7ysdr77O1R - currently reseaching this for children's primary care, finding similar knowledge gaps.

How can we measure progress towards improving primary #care services for the benefit of #patients?

@ChildMOCHA_EU very much values the active support of the AER in its work. Getting local needs into policies, and policies into local actions, is so vitally important. The AER and its active partners are invaluable. https://t.co/BrEAIfeiMt
Sadly inefficient to create unlinked (sub)national initiatives. Need for standards, evidence, and sharing of innovation. Keen interest and early work in @ChildMOCHA_EU, @IMIAtweets, @HL7, @CCIO_IRL, Estonia, Hungary, etc. @AHRQNews . Collaboration can enrich, underpin, save time https://t.co/lFll9tMYQb
@AKLOslo The challenge is getting the currency and data sources for quality, outcomes, satisfaction for key areas such as primary care and integrated care. At least money is understood and can be counted, underpinning the bias towards monetary value.
The social sciences are so important in gaining that understanding, and creating demand pull for innovation, not technology (or expert) push. https://t.co/QYKDDlzZ6i
Europe is strong in science, but fails to capitalise on it and lead in innovation. This is known as the 'innovation paradox'. We need to get better at capitalising on our scientific leadership. #EUinnovation

Great to see Health in All Policies, and addressing the Health Gap, being adopted in a meaningful and committed way.
@jPacevicius https://t.co/qI9FgU1zU6
While good to applaud outstanding work, it is the normal onging skilled day-to-day care, regular to the giver but highly personal to recipent, which shows the greatness of any health system. Vital to recognise that 'usual care' delivered with skill and compassion is the essence. https://t.co/O5CWkKx5bv
Nicely put. AI is sophisticated and systematic rules recognition and response, not creative thinking. Not scary; weaknesses limited to the humans that programmed it; strengths based on reliability and objectivity. Neither 'Artificial' nor 'Intelligence', but hyped up automation https://t.co/kc5vIaZ3zn
Absolutely brilliant for clarity and definitions. E-Health jargon and functions clarified but not talked down. ❤️❤️❤️
Well done Louise and @CCIO_IRL https://t.co/6dHp4I7CGU
Sharing of science about determinants, service delivery etc. as well as about technology and pharma a vital European strength largely under-recognised. Horizon 2020, Erasmus, Marie Curie, Health Prog. etc vital. @ChildMOCHA_EU about to produce strong results. Helps all States. https://t.co/YIS6AsyAe6
@NHSEngland But vital to have easy and clear protection for those on low income, expecially children and the elderly, if it is not become another life-challenging deepening of health inequality.

🔊 @NHSEngland will now save £100m+ each year by recommending low value treatments that aren't currently provided within the #NHS, as well as launching a consultation on curbs to prescriptions for some ‘over the counter’ products' such as paracetamol: https://t.co/TURy099v9U
Is the term 'Artificial Intelligence' causing understandable public anxiety? Would 'Intelligemt Automation' be a more accurate and less frightening term? For AER to discuss, as representing European society informedly? @jPacevicius https://t.co/vA7YVg8b5q
No Fry Zones. Already implemented by several county councils on the East coast of Irelend, including Dublin and adjacent counties. Municipalities can indeed be leaders in many aspects of health. https://t.co/hcePC5QQfz
@EUHPP @EU_Health @V_Andriukiaitis But in that case must swiftly address the lack of children's interests - immunisation, inequality, social disadvantage for many, integrated care for complex and chronic conditions, mental health, adolescent health. https://t.co/l6OLyCl4vU
#EUHPP@V_Andriukaitis stresses need for collaboration in tackling #health issues and encourages stakehoders to use #soHEU17 reports in their policy advocacy work
@ @OBShealth@EU_Health Great initative, but so disappointing children invisible in Summary except obesity and diet. Children are future popn, and healthcare and equity essential. Overlooked in policy, e-health, etc. @ChildMOCHA_EU seeking to address https://t.co/7ysdr77O1R https://t.co/2KQoaZEwiV
