In 2018 in #Zambia, over 13,000 girls were reached through girls' clubs in schools, facilitated by 2,000 peer mentors.

The clubs empower the girls to be assertive role models for other girls in their communities, to change norms to #EndChildMarriage.

Keeping girls in school is critical for advancing girls' rights. Educated girls are less likely to be married before the age of 18 - why the Global Programme supports girls and strengthens schools to improve girls' access to education.
