I absolutely love capturing photos of puffins at Skomer Island. There’s something magical about watching these charming birds with their colorful beaks and clumsy landings. Every visit feels like stepping into a wildlife wonderland. The puffins are full of personality, and photographing their quirky behavior is both fun and rewarding. Skomer’s dramatic cliffs and blooming wildflowers provide the perfect backdrop, making each shot feel special. I can spend hours waiting for that perfect moment — a puffin returning with a beak full of fish or peeking from its burrow. It’s pure joy and an experience I treasure every single time. @WildlifeTrusts@Natures_Voice@RSPBEngland@_BTO@nationaltrust

Leucistic Rare Red Kites – Only 15 in the Wild!
I feel incredibly fortunate to have seen not just one, but two leucistic red kites in the wild—an experience I’ll treasure forever. With only around 15 known individuals, spotting even one is rare. Their pale, ghostly plumage stands out so beautifully against the sky. I was absolutely over the moon when I first saw one at Gigrin Farm in Wales, a sanctuary for these stunning birds. Watching them soar with such grace among hundreds of regular red kites was simply magical. Nature never fails to amaze—this was truly unforgettable.

Here's a little me learning about how important Nettles are.
Maybe more signs like this can be put up for awareness. What do you think @NBBCouncil@WKWT?

Found this caterpillar on the Nettles that I've been looking after which have had lots of Mother of Pearl moths on. I wonder what this one will be? 🥚🐛🥐🦋

Monday morning motivation…!
My painting of puffins and gannets captures the raw beauty of nature’s rhythm. The puffins, with their bright beaks, and the sleek gannets dive fearlessly into the crashing waves, hunting for fish to feed their hungry chicks. Their wings cut through the sea spray as they plunge beneath the surface, a stunning display of purpose and grace. The ocean roars around them, but their determination never falters. This scene, alive with energy and love, shows the bond between parent and child in the wild. It’s a tribute to survival, instinct, and the breathtaking dance of life on the sea.
Climbing a tree is so much fun—gripping branches, feeling the breeze, and seeing the world from above. Imagine being a squirrel, scampering up trees daily with ease and joy. Every climb would be an adventure, every leap a thrill. What a wonderful, playful life that must be! @nationaltrust
