@Gamecha59272401@renew_economy@Bowenchris That is SO unlikely to be possible, that one nuclear power plant could CAUSE such a dramatic fall in energy prices. Does anyone really believe this?
@tanya_plibersek Sorry Tanya, that is such crap. Labor are in a cleft stick over climate and environment and you lash out at the Greens because without them you could approve all the gas wells and coal mines and kill the Great Barrier Reef and destroy koala habitat with no opposition.
@BarbaraPocock Yes, now comes the test for Labor. Will they stop cosying up to big business, wasting our taxes and take a stand to improve Australians’ trust in our democracy? What’s the odds?
@BarbaraPocock@SatPaper You are doing an AMAZING job Barbara. I don’t think you could be doing more to right the world in any other place right now. And hello Megsy!
@BarbaraPocock Stupidity? Corruption? Lack of imagination? Insufficient resources due to hollowing out of our public service, so it can no longer provide service to the public or by the public, as in government, sector?
@75merc@BarbaraPocock This is Labor’s hope, talking out of both sides of their mouth so we all stay on board. But it runs the risk of falling between the stools of necessary climate action and the fossil fuel industry’s chimera of carbon capture and storage (or whatever their fantasy is)
@BarbaraPocock Incredible! How does the ALP renege every stand of principle they could take? Climate and no new coal and gas, housing affordability and negative gearing, possible anti monopoly legislation, and now back to wasting money on consultancies with gross public interest offenders?
@westaustralian I used to think the West was not too bad but now it spreads fear and hatred, so that even CEO Woodside Meg O’Neill appears more afraid of home invasion than the climate catastrophe she is helping cause. Whip up anger and you’ll cause violence
@BURRUPHUB@westaustralian Methinks he doth protest too much. I suspect Cook knows he is had made a pact with the devil, and against all the 17 year olds in WA.
@SenMcDonald And then there’s ensuring our future by replacing gas with cheaper, cleaner renewable energy. Even in our homes, gas causes asthma and other respiratory diseases.
@Chutzpahx@sussanley Just think if Labor also cancelled the high end stage 3 tax cuts, revved up renewables and stopped gas company price gouging, built more social housing, raised Newstart, @Sussan Ley would have even fewer legs to stand on!
