@skutlelemur I think part of the disconnect is that w/ just the OT the Jedi were this mystery group of savior-knights for fun/FANtasy. As the PT exposed their flaws/set up Knightfall they became less romantic. Luke can't rebuild the FANtasy & doesn't wanna rebuild the flawed political group.

Meditation exercise: Find a spot with sticks and twigs and remove them all from a circle, 10-ish foot radius around a tree. Meditate next to the tree for some intuitive amount of time, at least 10 minutes. Then, notice all the twigs you didn’t see the first time, and remove them.

@runwithskizzers I think the thing people forget is that it's an actual craft/skill. Like, 'oh you write? Yeah I was gonna do a book one time '
Many of us b have to struggle/walk different paths and I think anyone who gets the opportunity to write full time deserves fair compensation.
